About Alex

Alex Maybloom is a Melbourne-based oil painter known for her colourful surreal worlds, where magical horses wander through nature inspired fantasy backdrops. Her work blends expressive detail with a sense of childlike wonder, offering viewers a doorway into worlds shaped by magic and storytelling.

 

​In her spare time, Alex can usually be found pole dancing, playing video games, or out taking reference photos for future artworks. When she’s not creating, she’s busy running her shop, updating her website, and keeping her social media buzzing with new pieces and behind-the-scenes glimpses into her creative world.
